I love revolvers but they gotta be big and heavy!
My heavier stainless jframe hurts my hands after a few cylinder fulls.
she knows how to shoot, this is strictly for carry.. I figure a box of 50 or less first trip, after that she'll put 5 or 10 through it per range trip

It advertises it's a +P gun but it won't see them while I own it...

I believe it you get the basics down and get comfortable with a gun in your hand, it really doesn't matter what gun you have you'll be able to defend yourself.. sure we all have guns we shoot(prefer) better than others but when comes to it if you're comfortable with a gun in your hand have good basics, grip, stance and what sight picture you're looking for.. you'll do fine..

I always tell her, don't worry about being fast, just be deliberate like you've done it before.and you'll fine.

Yes i agree - the gun you carry to defend hourself must fit well and be comfortable to hold.

i also believe one must "train and practice fairly regularly" with their carry gun to keep proficiency up though and I can't agree on 5 only unless you visit the range often. But that's just my opinion. We all have one (-:

It didn't take long for me to sew in some leather pads from my the inside of my thighs to the inside of my calves.
A friend of mine did the same thing with his .44
