I like the Sig for me best. If our guys that do the all the hard work like the Glock better, I'd make damn sure they get the Glock. Simple as that.

I love the Sig and Glock.
For warfare, I personally would prefer the Sig ,
But I'm sure the Glock19 will serve them well.

They're both great pistols. Let them choose what they prefer and shoot the best. If it's a major budget thing, then Glock makes sense.

If I were in there and had a choice, I would opt for the M45A1. As a CQBP firing FMJ it is superior to any 9MM.

I am sure they are saving money. Glocks are cheaper than Sigs and the handgun is not a primary weapon. Equipment is usually selected by a bean counter and the lowest bidder.

Except this is special forces and not standard line troops. Most of these guys use what they want anyways. May just have been enough of them who were running a glock that it seemed to make sense to switch. Unless you know a seal or you are one we won't ever know.
