Re: Moving to Pike in January
Congrats on the move. I relocated from Nj 20 years ago and it has been the best times of my life. In case you don't know open carry is NOT illegal in PA. I OC all over in the nice weather or take off my jacket/sweatshirt and OC. I have OC'd in Milford many many times. No issues. All over the Poconos etc. It's just a nice alternative. If it's cc or OC I do no think about it. OC is fine in national park or state forest. CC only in State Parks. Enjoy!!!

Re: Moving to Pike in January
Thank you both. I was just up at the house today moving in some stuff. It is funny how much better I feel the further I get away from all the traffic and people in NJ. I will only be in PA for a few years though. This is the first step towards the midwest. Trying to make it to Utah or Montana before I am 30.

Welcome to Free (for now) America. The range at SGL 159 near Dyberry is pretty quiet, and after numerous trips there I've seen none of the insanity I've heard goes in at the Wallenpaupack range. The range in Archibald on SGL 300 is decent too.

Welcome to PA! Did the move a few months ago from Morris County and couldn't be happier... If you're looking for a good bar/restaurant, the Dimmick Inn, Milford is a great place. Good crowd and decent prices.
Here is the Facebook link for the new RT 739 range in case you don't have.

Their website is not up yet.
