Mossberg 835 with 535 Slug Barrel

Hey folks. We are kinda in a jam for deer hunting. Long story short, we have a mossberg 835 with the overboard barrel (no slugs) and access to a mossberg 535 rifled slug barrel. Would the 535 slug barrel work on the 835? I know they are both 3.5" chamber, but as I understand the 535 is more based on the 500 and the 835 is beefed up. Thanks.

535 and 835 barrels are not interchangeable.
