Alien Gear plastic clips

I have a Crossbreed super tuck holster I carry my Glock 22 in, great holster. I bought one of the new nylon aliens gear holsters with the plastic clips for another gun I wanted to carry, One day walking around Wal-Mart with the Alien holster on. I could feel the holster working off the belt and creeping up. I went too the rest room and re secured the holster. I placed an order for the metal clips. I have had no further problems with the holster with the Metal belt clips. I know I will not trust the plastic clips again.

I don't know why they even offer them. The metal is how I went and the only way I EVER would have went. This is also true of the sub-structure; The Cloak 2 with the ABS insert is not even close to the quality of the 3.0

I actually like the plastic clips better. The metal clips put holes in my shirt, especially when I am driving or sitting down.

The metal clips are the way to go. I had the original alien gear holster that came with metal clips, then upgraded when the 2.0 came out and came with plastic clips. I've had the plastic clips slip off of my belt on more then one occasion and decided to move the metal clips over to the 2.0 frame.

The metal clips put holes in my shirt too but the plastic clips cracked and weakened at the top from taking the holster on and off.
