    Default PM ing Conundrum

OK folks, is there a hidden draft area somewhere in the PM mode. Several times I have attempted to PM a member only to have the system tell me it can't be sent because the recipients box is full. I see no way to save it except to copy paste to an external place (notepad or such) for future use.

It is a major pain to write a very descriptive text only to have it evaporate. Help me, I am stupid. Thanks.

I think you answered your own question. I have email crap out on me once in a while. I've learned that if it takes more than a couple minutes to finish, paste that stuff into notepad/etc. to finish. If I'm still at it a couple minutes after that, hit save.

Don't think I was clear enough. I have finished the PM (email if you will) hit send. Get a message the the other persons box is full. Cannot send and no DRAFT area to hold it in. If I close at that point it is lost forever, best as I can tell. Thus far I have been copy/past to notepad for a future try. It is not a timing out issue.

If I have a particularly long post on any forum I type it up in a text editor before submitting it. This way if there is a forum error of some sort I have not lost everything. Draft mode is not a feature I recall seeing on any forum I post to.

Did you check your 'Sent' folder? I'm not sure if that saves PM attempts, or just successes. There's also a way to 'Track' messages, but again I'm not sure if that only applies to PMs that are delivered successfully.

I've gotten so annoyed at the various issues that can come up from in-app message handlers that I've gotten in the habit of starting any message in a text editor, then when it's complete and spell checked I cut and paste it into the app message field.

Since it sounds like this has happened multiple times, you should copy paste save before hitting send.

Why don't you just send the member a PM to empty his mailbox?

Thanks y'all. I just have to save them to a notepad type place. I just thought that there was a DRAFT type folder hidden somewhere. Apparently not. This has had with 2 different members so it's not an issue with one persons PM thingie.
