Met my first Fudd today
I was at the dealership this morning getting the wife's car inspected and while I was in the waiting room this old guy struck up a conversation with me. Asked if I was going hunting this year to which I replied that I wasn't since I can't really walk far enough with my bad knees.
He told me he wasn't either, then started blabbing about he gets so pissed off when buying a liscence they always gave him a NRA signup paper. He said no way he could support an organization that supports people owning them thar AK's and AR's that shoot a thousand rounds. He told me all a guy needs is a single shot rifle and carry another round in your hand in case you needed to reload. I told him the 2nd doesn't limit the type of firearm or the number of rounds it can hold.
He did agree with that but said he doesn't support it and hi-cap firearms are killing too many of our children. He said if I like dumping mags and shooting stuff that explodes I should join the military and go to the middles east and shoot ISIS people. Stupid bastard couldn't look at me and see I'm in my 60's.
Anyway, by then I was getting pissed as I usually do when trying to talk with idiots or libs and got up and went out to the bay where they were working on the car.
He looked to be in his 70's.........how could anybody live that long and still be that stupid?NRA Benefactor

Re: Met my first Fudd today
Hard work, perseverance, and pure dumb luck.
I would have been hard pressed not to ask him one of two questions:
"Are you insane?"
or
"Do you have any idea whatsover as to what you're babbling about?
But then, that's just me.
My question to you:
"Why weren't you open carrying?"

I'd have started a conversation about being older and needing meds, and how much Thorazine has helped me.....

Re: Met my first Fudd today
I propose a new law stating that a mass shooting MUST be done with a hunting rifle.
If not, the shooter will be fined. F-ing retard.

Not quite a hunting rifle, but a very popular fudd type gun: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clevel...28San_Diego%29

Or next time you meet a guy who is 25-40% with us instead of labeling him, getting pissed and walking away you could maybe rationally & logically explained your side. Just a thought.

Alright, I've been here a couple of years and hear "Fudd" a lot, but I'm still not crystal clear on what it is. Can you please give me an actual definition? Reps to those who care.
Also, where can I get one of these thousand-round mags? I'd be very interested in owning one.
I'd have to recruit the kids to load it up for me...who has time to do that?Galations 6:9...And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Re: Met my first Fudd today
The stupid runs strong in a lot of old folks in this state, just like those old clowns marching into the polls in Philly the other day loudly proclaiming they vote democratic across the board.

A person who believes in the 2nd amendment, as long as it is tightly controlled?
