i've decided i want something to carry in my front pocket in the summer when my 1911 is too big but i can't decide what i want. i'm stuck between a colt cobra, ruger sp101 or glock 26. the g26 is the most practical and probably the most accurate and can be had with nite sites but doesn't feel as right in my hand. the ruger is a monster and can digest .357 but 5 rounds seems low. the colt feels right, is lightweight and holds 6 but only standard .38 spl. help me decide.

personally all them are too big for me for pocket carry. I had a P11 and it was too big for me, ended up getting a LCP. But if i had to choose one of them i would choose the g26

All too heavy to pocket, but g-26. Pocket guns swing in your pocket quite a bit even with a good holster.

I hate Glocks, but I hate revolvers even more, so I picked the G26.

My pocket carry was a Kel Tec P3AT, but it is now in the possession of my son-in-law. I got some bigger pockets, so now I can stuff a Kel Tec PF9 in them - single stack 9mm, 7 or 8 rounds, I forget off hand. I've had no problems with it yet. I realize these are not in your poll, so feel free to disregard.

I carry a Kahr MK40 in Summertime. Great pocket gun. Fits in either the front pocket, cargo pocket or jacket pocket. Better power than a .380 ACP. Available in 9mm, 40 S&W or 45 ACP. I would avoid the 45 ACP. The 40 S&W is a little hard to handle as it is. 9mm might actually be a better choice for this size.

I carry a Ruger LCP and/or a Beretta Tomcat Inox in my front jeans pockets.

Can't imagine carrying anything larger in my jeans pocket.

i wear mostly dickie's and camo shorts and i haven't tried the glock yet but the cobra dissapeared in my pocket and i took my buddy's smith 36 to the range in my pocket and didn't even notice it. i generally carry a knife, keys, zippo, smokes, change, wallet and other misc. things so i'm no stranger to heavy pockets.
