Your AG has dropped the reciprocity agreement PA had with ME. Maine removed reciprocity from their law when they went to permitless carry. They will just honor anyone who honors them. Most agreements have a clause that states if there is a change in a states law that could effect reciprocity they will inform the other state. Maine most likely contacted PA. She could have kept honoring Maine as PA honors about a dozen other states without an agreement. She has moved Maine to the list of states that PA residents can apply for a non resident permit in.
