anthony arms range questions
Hey everybody, relatively new to the forums, I've only posted a few times before. I'm looking to go break in my new USP .40 compact at anthony's indoor range since it's only fifteen minutes away from me and have a few questions.
1. can you go straight down to the range or do you have to go through the shop to get to the range?
2. do my eye glasses count as eye protection,or do I need to get some that fit over top of my regular glasses?
3. do they have any special rules other than the standard range rules?(I know you have to use their ammo)
or any other info you could share I would love to hear.
thanks.

Re: anthony arms range questions
Welcome!
1. can you go straight down to the range or do you have to go through the shop to get to the range?
2. do my eye glasses count as eye protection,or do I need to get some that fit over top of my regular glasses?
3. do they have any special rules other than the standard range rules?(I know you have to use their ammo)
Over 21 only is the only "strange" one they have (most other ranges I've been too allow under 21 as long as they are supervised by someone over)
Also, they dislike loading of magazines anywhere but at the firing line.
Have fun and be safe!

Re: anthony arms range questions
thanks for the info, I've also been looking to come out to the group shoot, and maybe becoming a regular member at pmsc. Don't know if I can make it this month though?

Re: anthony arms range questions
Why 21 though? It's legal to poses firearms once you are 18 years of age. Furthermore, why should the person supervising be a "parent or guardian?"
... Then again, it's their range and their rules and if we don't like 'em, we can go somewhere else (Which I was doing 'till GPGC got closed down... again)
(Oh, and what is it about the magical age "18" or "21" that makes any real difference, anyway? But that's a debate for another day and another forum )

Re: anthony arms range questions
Joining PMSC is a side effect of the group shoots, but is by no means a requirement.
Come join us if you can. Always nice to meet new people!
Can't make it this time? There's always next month.
Write this down... "The group shoot is held on the second Sunday of every month."
