The lounge is a mess because the rules of no firearm related politics being discussed has not been enforced almost since the political wasteland was removed. A vacuum for specific discussion was created, which led to another exodus, and the birth of a different site.

effective immediately we're closing the Political Wasteland, and any such threads/posts that would've been allowed there no longer have any place at PAFOA. All non-firearms related political discussion, news reports, URL repostings, etc. that are posted anywhere on the site will be deleted, and a new 10 point spam infraction, "Spam: Non-Firearms Politics" will be issued to the posters.

I realize knee jerk administrative rules with no oversight is rare on PAFOA over the years.

All politics are gun related. It's like Kevin Bacon. The reason is: people's gun = liberty & freedom. Political power = slavery. Government = citizen's life style. Political power will harness the government to take the people's liberty & freedom. Every issue falls on one side or the other of the slave/freedom line.
