Default Most Americans Don’t Believe Guns ‘Too Easy’ to Get

    .

For the first time since its inception, a CNN/ORC poll finds that most Americans do not believe current gun laws make it “too easy” for Americans to buy guns.

When asked, “In your view, do existing laws make it too easy for people to buy guns, too difficult, or are they about right?”, 49 percent of respondents said “about right.”

Forty-one percent of respondents said current law made it “too easy” for people to buy guns and 10 percent said they made it “too difficult.” Only 1 percent of respondents had no opinion.

The poll has asked the question periodically since 1989. This is the first time that less than 56 percent of respondents have said guns are “too easy” to buy. In August 1993, 70 percent of respondents had answered guns were “too easy” to buy, the poll’s all-time high.

As opposition to new gun laws has increased, approval ratings for President Obama’s handling of gun policy have decreased. The CNN poll found that 59 percent of Americans disapprove of the way the president has approached gun laws while 35 percent approve. That represents a 7-point drop in approval and a 6-point increase in disapproval since CNN last asked about gun policy back in June.

Yet they'll persist with there attack on firearms regardless. It seems more and more of the sheep are awakening to the fact it's people control that they really want.

Opinion Poll.... I think most Americans who do not shoot and do not own firearms do not care one way or the other. Out of sight, out of mind.

Got that tiny minority who thinks that doing with firearms what has failed with alcohol or dope will accomplish great things. They're Puritans who figure that the world would be a better place if people like them ran things. If you doubt it, just ask them.

Bigger minority who shoot but don't want to be associated with "weirdos", "gun nuts" etc.

Us more hard core types who think ahead... as the late Neal Knox used to say, "It's the not the size of the dog, it's the fight in the dog". Never were many of us anyhow.

Heck, only one in three people in the colonies supported the American Revolution. Google "United Empire Loyalist" to see who lost that fight.

For all of his nitwittery with money and bullshit gun control propaganda Mikey Bloomberg is a godsend. The man is almost sociopathic about wanting to control "lesser people" for "their own good". Soda size limitations, salt restrictions, condom distributions, and who knows what other sort of crap.

You make a laboratory rat helpless it'll get "depressed". No creature likes to feel helpless. I think people are growing tired of pukes like Bloomberg trying to run their lives.

I still remember when he didn't want the New York State National Guard in NYC, at least not while they were armed.

"The NYPD is the only people we want on the street with guns".

This friends is what a Control Freak looks like.... and a lot of people might want "someone else" to get taxed or controlled but when that comes down on them, they're not cool with it.
