Open carry in a bar while drinking

As I understand the PA court system, a decision (either way) from the Court of Common Pleas would not be binding on any future decision in another court. The matter would have to be elevated at least once to become citable precedent.

Agree that is not truly BINDING case law on inferior courts but any CCP definition could be cited (introduced) as a persuasive ruling "for use in either amending sheriff office policy, future appeals for denials or defense of criminal charges with respect to utilizing out-of-state CCWs."

You can drink all you want while open carrying in PA.

You can also be a large douchenozzle under PA law.

The lesson here is that because it's legal doesn't always make it a stellar idea.

Myself, I don't carry at all while drinking and CCW if I'm the DD in a bar. Those are personal choices.

Yeah, we should base our decisions on the actions of outlaw motorcycle gang members.

Knowing that assholes like that might roll up on the bar I'm in increases my desire to have good self defense options available.
