    wow...it takes 3-4 weeks in northampton county..because they mail a letter 2 local police asking if they have any objection to u getting a LTCF

    Why are so many counties take so long? It was quite a plesant experience when I got mine except the lady taking the pictures, she had an attitude but I just ignored it because I was just happy to get it. Note: the woman who did the phone call to check I was not a felon or had mental illness was not a officer.

    Don't feel so bad, it takes 6 - 8 weeks in Philadelphia. I received mine in 6 weeks, which was just within the law. Although Philadelphia does like to quote 45 "working days". But then again, everyone knows Philadelphia likes to make up there own laws. (regardless of what is legal)
