What to do when I have my gun with me but can't carry it
obviously if it's a store and I can go to one that permits me to carry go there but at least once a week I leave from work where I could CC but not OC and and go to my fiancee's work where i carry because they've been robbed a few times and it makes her and her coworkers feel better that I'm there. I have to do something with the gun for the day, I hate the idea of leaving it in the car but I guess locking it in the glove box is an option. What would you do in this situation?

Get a small gun safe and find a way to secure it somewhere in the vehicle.
Here's a few on Amazon.

What you do? Conceal it or find another store.
I hate the idea of leaving my guns in the car...I've had to lock in the trunk a couple of times but prefer not to.Galations 6:9...And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

The problem being I'm not talking about going shopping, like I said in my post I can't OC at work. I accidentally deleted the part when I was editing the post that I also can't CC right now because I've gained a considerable amount of weight and my tuckable holster no longer fits inside my pants.

Re: What to do when I have my gun with me but can't carry it
I've had a heavy duty pistol vault secured to my truck for many years. I don't like leaving it in there, but I have to sometimes. Every day I go to work I put it in there because we have a rule against protecting ourselves on company property (my wording, not theirs). Better to have it secured nearby, than to go without it all the time.

For I keep a small lockable case cable-locked to the seat frame under my passenger's seat. Not perfect, but beats leaving it completely unsecured except for the car door lock.
That said, I've never used it. I generally don't carry if I expect to go somewhere I can't legally or practically carry (e.g. the Post Office).

Re: What to do when I have my gun with me but can't carry it
I was using a desantis tuckable holster carrying at precisely the position you mention partially because of my size and partially because of the ungodly uncomfortable nature of carrying in a nissan altima if i'm much forward of that on the right side. My pants still fit at this point and I'm saving for a wedding so the option was buy all new pants to the tune of like 250 dollars which would allow me to continue using the tuckable holster, buy a walther PPS and a pocket holster for 400+ or buy a blackhawk serpa sportster for less than 30 dollars, I've gone with the latter. It is also exponentially more comfortable than the desantis was anyway but now I'm trying to learn the ins and outs of OC

Twency actually said the same thing and provided a link to some. I'm going to check them out. I at least get out of work late enough that I'm not so concerned with anyone calling the cops when I take it out of the safe to put it on.

I'm going to look into getting one of these, for the moment it's just locked in my glove box but i'd like something sturdier.
