    Default Finally Got Noticed

So I'm picking up some doggie treats (made in America, not China) at the local Dollar General store and the check-out girl (early 30s?) says, "Gee, I wish I could carry like that at work." I'm OCing my trusty Hi-Point C9 in a Fobus holster. She did add that hers was in her purse.

I grabbed some Open Carry trifold flyers and brought some back in to her.

First time in a long, long time that anyone's commented.

A Hi-Point, in a Dollar General, in Indiana County.

OKay..... did you share your doggie treats with her?

    Rep for the flyers!
    GAH! Damn rep nazis!
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Now, now, these are good, basic people. Won't win any beauty contests, just struggling to survive out here in Appalachia.

And I don't care what anyone's opinion of a Hi-Point is. Mine works, and that's all I require.

Statkowski is the original Wakefield when it comes to Hi-Point.

I think he's been carrying his Hi-Point openly since the Packing.Org days, and while he was on the Cherry Tree Borough council.

Now, now, be nice. I didn't say a Hi-point was the end all, be all. For me it works, I'm comfortable with it. As for others, they have their own path to follow through life, complete with their own choices.

Nothing wrong with Hi-Point.. Nothing at all.

Be proud of what you carry, especially if you're good with it.

Some people have chuckled at me for picking H&R/NEF rifles for hunting and target. ...I usually have the last laugh. One guy wanted to bet be me rifle-for-rifle for a 3 shot group standing. I took him up on it, but I had made the condition that I got to go first and if he didn't like what he saw he could back out. ....he backed out. Its hard to beat a ragged 1 hole at 50yds.

Hi-points seem to often be more loved by their OWNERS than glocks
Anyways ........ was the girl hot?
I mean sometimes those dollar store women are rough
But sometimes they are dangerously hot
How many teeth would you estimate were in the store?

I used to know the owner of Dollar General. Well, that's a long story.
