Default 18 year old OC transportation

This question is just a curiosity of mine and would like to know people's thoughts. I was wondering if an 18 year old could OC a handgun and transport it by bike loaded? I already know that you are not allowed to transport it by vehicle anywhere except for to and from the range or place of repair. But could you use a bike to transport yourself and the firearm to anywhere you were willing to travel? Thanks in advance for reading and I am looking forward to hearing your responses!

    Is a bike a vehicle?

I'm not too sure... I suppose so but also I'm not sure of the exact wording of the law. I don't know if it directly states vehicle, or automobile or anything like that.

If I recall, it's worded as a conveyance, which a skateboard, bike, go-kart, riding mower or tactical wheelbarrow could be considered one. If you can ride upon it, it's a no-no for transporting sans an LTCF.

The problem you would get into is that a bike.. skateboard... go-kart..riding mower.. tactical wheelbarrow.. are all considered "vehicles" for purposes of DUI. An ADA worth half his salt will argue that a "vehicle" is a "conveyance". You can't get a DUI on a horse... but I bet it would be argued that it's a "conveyance".

A bicycle is a vehicle. You can get a traffic ticket on a bicycle, including getting snagged for DUI, just as you can on a motor vehicle.
