Mail Line Health blocks PAFOA on their WiFi
While waiting for my wife, I tried to log on to PAFOA using Main Line Health's public WiFi. Got a message that by policy this site was blocked. Happened at Lankenau and Riddle.
Fuck them. I used my mobile data to connect to PAFOA.

Alright, who here works at MLH and spent too much work time goofing-off on Poofa?

Grandview hospital also blocked this site, and others. And of course there's no reception inside, so its their WiFi or nothing.

Wegman's used to block it. Supposedly, common WAN IT packages have broad security options and part of the default access restriction is sites including information about weapons. It is highly unlikely they targeted this site specifically and somewhat unlikely they even made a conscious decision to block sites about firearms at all.

Odd, my wife was in Bryn Mawr hospital for a few days over the winter and I was surfing POOFA while visiting her.
I wonder if it's just whoever sets up the network.

Did you connect to their WiFi network or were you using mobile data?

Re: Mail Line Health blocks PAFOA on their WiFi
Both General and Geisinger hospitals have it blocked under "weapons" around here.
For a time, it was blocked at my work also. We had a new web filter that was blocking anything having to do with weapons and ammunition. They eventually smartened up and unblocked it when people realized we weren't even able to get to our homepage.
