^^ That's the description by news orgs when a range with a restaurant attached got a liquor license. The knee-jerkers are all over it...

Re: Guns and booze in Florida
I used to go to a place like that every weekend - in NJ. Does anyone else remember the Mountain Rest Inn in West Milford? They had a line clay pigeon throwers and a pistol range out back. You paid $10 and backed your truck up to a thrower. It was yours for the day. You could also use the pistol range. Once you were served at the bar, you were finished on the range. You could shoot and then have drinks and food while listening to live music.
I don't know when this stopped. The last time I was there was in 1992.Boy, I say boy, you're reaching the limits of my medication!

Re: Guns and booze in Florida
Florida has been a target (sorry no pun intended) for there gun laws since passing there stand your ground castle doc. The criditcs called Florida the gun shine state. Well maybe someone could do the math on drinking and boating deaths, yet I bet almost ever marina and boat club that has restaurant also serves booze. For that matter a restaurant that has a parking lot and serves booze are people crazy?

The Bass Pro shop in Dania Beach has both a gun range and restaurant. I think they sell alcoholic dinks but I am not sure since I never ate there. Just another chicken little news story.

They're just jealous that planned parenthood hasn't attached a bar and restaurant to their establishments.
