Re: LTCF question
Renew the PA license asap. I can't provide a legal cite at the moment, but I do know that another states LTCF does not substitute for A PA resident's requirement to use a PA LTCF.
I have it written down somewhere.... PA residents must use PA LTCF to carry concealed in PA.

Re: LTCF question
Here is the discussion thread about it: http://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.php?t=235000
Basically, thanks to that asshole McKown, the Superior Court decided that despite what the statute says, if you are a PA resident, no out of state CCW is valid for you inside the borders of PA. Only non-PA residents can carry with out of state CCWs.

Re: LTCF question
Last time I checked an expired LTCF is still valid 6 months from the expiration date...has that changed?

Re: LTCF question
"Valid" is not the best word.
Carrying concealed within the 6 month period after your LTCF has expired gives you an opportunity to prove you were once licensed, to a judge,
at your trial, with your expensive attorney standing by your side trying to keep your from being convicted of a 1st degree misdemeanor. Which
would prohibit you from ever owning/buying/carrying/possessing guns and ammo for life.
Not quite the same as valid. As grace periods go, it's pretty limp.
See Exception 12, take your chances...

.While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Re: LTCF question
In addition, the current PA Attorney General and State of Utah changed the actual reciprocity agreement between the two states to say a Utah CFP is valid here only when used by a Utah resident.
