Any guesses as to how well the 'gun violence tax' will work?
They don't care about it reducing crime, and they know damn well that it won't do anything about it. It's all about making it more difficult for law abiding to buy guns.

I wonder if they will pass a Child Sex Exploitation tax on anyone bearing a child.

You just don't get it do you. They are so close to having enough tax revenue to defeat the broken homes and the lack of accountability that is plaguing our cities. This will provide the extra couple bucks they need to finally climb the dark crag and slay the dragon poverty once and for all. Hopefully they don't come up a buck short.

And you jerks question me when I object to the use/proposed requirement of an FFL for long gun transfers.

If this tax money will be used to create programs to help reduce gun violence that's not a bad thing at all. Lets hope this is what the money is really used for.

Yup, more leftist drivel. Let the law abiding pay for the sins of the criminals.

Maybe they should legalize the sell of Heroin, Opium, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, LSD, etc. They could tax the hell out it, cut the size/disband the DEA as they made all drugs taxable and use all the money saved fot the children!

I would favor the legalization of drugs, tax them, and use the money to properly fund the schools which would then reduce our property taxes.

Pretty certain they are preempted by state law and cannot enforce the tax.
