I think the same types of guys who purposely drive slow in the fast lane, piss on public toilet seats and park in handicap spots are the sort who apparently delight in crafting their post titles such that no reasonable or predictable keyword related to the subject matter is present for earnest thread title searchers to later discover!

People often call me a dupe. Maybe I should be locked up. Or deleted.

While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

OTOH.....It could be possible that the poster is speaking in another language. For example....let's say the OP was speaking in "Linesville Lingo". He could say something like...."Well, Whooper Chew chew mother fngnker." Some may know immediately what the OP has stated, others will have no idea.

I think each forum should simply have a thread called "thread." YOu can use search to find anything you want.

Point taken (I suppose, insofar as the mods believe that having the AG who did the damage she did to gun rights not deserving a new thread for getting indicted). Mods, you can lock this with extreme prejudice if you want.

Is there a physical limit to the number of threads held in a category? Is it related to an OS limit on the number of files in a directory? The search thing fails me when I look for threads I know exist. More than likely it's my failing to understand fully search. I friggin hate tabware and the terrible search it has for work. Most but not all of that is related to how the information was entered. This would be a good place to add, "I hope nothing but the worst for Kane. I hope she drags out her departure long enough to thwart Preditor Wolf's aspirations to appoint an even worse, more base self serving rights destroying progressive attorney general in her stead.".

Even a note saying "dupe" before the lock or "not gun related" or whatever looks better than a lockup.

By a similar token, it would be nice if the notices that say an infraction was issued would indicate WHY it was issued, so the rest of us know exactly what we should not be doing in a similar fashion...yeah, sometimes it is obvious, but a lot of times it is not (:
