Default Local(ish) places that teach about guns

I'm interested in places/businesses/individuals that teach all, or just some, aspects about guns. From gun safety, how to clean a gun, reloading, everything and anything. What do you know of that's out there and where is it?
Let's not forget there are still species of tropical penguins living in the Galapagos.

One good place to start is the NRA - you can search for nearby classes at http://www.nrainstructors.org/Search.aspx

For beginning safety and shooting you can try:

    Name Margaret Belcastro
    Phone 610-670-6727
    Email learn2shootsafely@yahoo.com
Margaret offers private or classroom instruction and is sensitive to beginner’s needs.

I second this, that is where I got my start!

    Margaret is an excellent choice.

You could also check out this local indoor gun range:

My wife and 14 year old daughter both took her NRA Beginner Pistol (name ?) course. They said it was very good. I think it was about $150, though it was from 8AM until about 3 or 4PM.

Enck's Gun Barn offers classes on I believe everything you're looking for. They are moving this week into their new facility.
