Default .410 Mosberg pump has become my favorite gun to shoot at clays.

I have a wide choice of Shotguns for clay shooting. 12,20,410 in pumps, single shots, Saiga's, double barrel...

My favorite clay bird killer is the Mossberg .410 pump. It is the most challenging for me and I still do good with it. Mind you I am busting clays off a foot operated thrower. I have get the hit withing about 25 yards or make some serious adjustment to lead it after that.

I was wondering what other peoples favorite clay busters might be.

A friend of mine has a Thomson Center Contender and we shot clays with it using the .410 barrel with one of those Outers launchers attached to a car rim with a tire on it. None of us were too good with it and the dang thing is loud as hell. If you're having fun shooting with it keep doing it. I have a trap gun that is a Browning A5 with a 30" barrel. Normally I shoot with modified or full choke depending on the weather.

Yes. The little Mossberg pump gun in .410. I, too, use a foot operated thrower in the backyard. Great fun.

I have a Raging Judge Magnum that shoots 45LC, .454 Cassul and .410. I have been trying trying to get good at busting clays with .410 loaded in that. That is probably the biggest trap shooting challenge there is. I have never broke any clays with 2 1/2 from the Judge, but I have broken the clays a few times when loaded with 3 inch shells. The key to this is that you have to pretty much hit the clays within 10 feet of the thrower. If I am having a good day I might hit 1 in 20 clays with this .410 revolver. Of course I recycle unbroken clays.
