    Default Public Library?

Has anyone open carried at a local public library? If it's a public library, I would assume it is covered under the pre-emption law, and they cannot prohibit any form of carry?

I might be taking a trip with my young daughter to the Indian Valley Public Library, just want to confirm OC is good to go, and that they actually can't boot me for it.

    Thanks

I do all the time in Lancaster, both at the Ephrata and Lititz libraries.

York libraries have a posted "no weapons" policy. No signs on the doors but they have a list of rules hanging up that they can show you.

That just means conceal. Lots of nutjobs show up between the shelves in libraries, you should protect yourself.

Most libraries are run by liberals so if I were you, I'd just cover up so your daughter's trip doesn't get ruined.

Another Ephrata person! Maybe I'll bump into someone. Never saw anyone at the library though.

Semi-amazing to me that libraries still exist. Same for FAX machines.

if you frequent the township park or Grater Park or the Winters Memorial trail and see a guy with a beagle, that's me. I CC my SP-101 more than OC but its basically a matter of what I am wearing.

They're still extremely busy. They offer a LOT more than paper books.

I have in Exeter library, no problems.

You'll find some of your biggest free speech supporters in libraries. They don't like books being banned.
