Subway New Holland No Guns
I was just at the Subway in New Holland to pick up a sandwich for my son. The girl said management informed her guns were to be left in vehicles by customers. I asked to get my last sandwich from them and not to return in the future and she agreed. She claims it comes from the property owner. I'll call tomorrow and see what I can find out. My suspicion was raised for some reason and I'm thinking it may have been the employee. I don't know. If legit that's fine as well. Lost me as a customer

Re: Subway New Holland No Guns
Subway's sandwiches sucked even for $5. Plus, Hoagiefest is on at Wawa. I already had plenty of reason not to step foot in a Subway

Re: Subway New Holland No Guns
For my son. He worked late and had a two hour drive home. He called and asked if I'd have it waiting. I never had an issue there before. On the other hand carrying has been getting a fair amount of media attention around here lately with newspaper articles, opinions in the oped and letters to the editor. The property owner, store manager or the employee herself could have decided to "do their part". The guy that was working seemed like it was news to him as well and quickly said "yes" when I asked if I could make my purchase and be aware in the future. I explained I wouldn't come back if I was to take it to my vehicle.

I agree any sub shop that cant slice their own cold cuts and has a pre allotted amount of meat and cheese for each sandwich doesn't deserve me, my money or my side arm.
I hope that owner has a good large clientele who aren't into their 2A rights. Denying anyone service for something that is their right is just bad business period.

I had low blood sugar when I got to walmart today. Stopped into the attached subway for some carbs. I was OCing a stainless 1911. No one said a word.
Living in a rural area my selections on stores is rather limited. Most other Big box stores are in NYS. I don't go there unless necessary.USNRET '61-'81

Interesting. I would venture to say it's an individual management policy. Maybe a call to corporate would shed some light on the policies. With the most locations in the U.S. of any fast food chain (yes more than McDonalds!), they would be silly to alienate a very large customer base.
All that said, I echo the Wawa comments! We are lucky to have them here.

I've got a hunch its the employee's policy. Yes, call/write subway. Note the time, date and description of the employee. See what happens.

Same people that stopped serving pork products in 200+ stores in England to appease Moslems.

Is there a gun buster on the door? On adjacent doors? I need to run over to F&M for a project this AM, maybe I'll swing past on my way back!
