LTCF Renewal in Cumberland County

Got my letter from Sheriff Anderson that my LTCF needed renewed. This would be my fourth renewal. I know that a new LTCF is processed the same as a renewal.

Visited the Sheriff's website for business hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm. Found this little gem right on the License to Carry Firearm page:

When You Arrive
When you arrive, come into the main doors of the new courthouse, go through
security, and get on the elevator. Go to 3rd floor, continue straight off the
elevator and the Firearms/Licensing Division of the Sheriffs Office is on
the right. Recent upgrades to the License to Carry computer system has made
instant issue possible. If the criminal history check is approved, you will receive
your license when you apply. (My bold & underline).....

Arrived in the office about 9:10, gave my paperwork (already filled out), gave my DL as ID, gave my check for $20, and she asked for my old LTCF, if I had it (not sure why but I did not get it back). She sat down and typed in the info and said the background check was started and if everything is ok, you will have your new LTCF in about 5 minutes. It came back ok, I sat down and she took my picture, and in 2 minutes I had my brand new LTCF and out the door I went.

Less than 10 minutes, start to finish - I was the only one in the office during this time period..!!!!!

Same kind of great experience with CC renewal except mine was not instant. That must be very new, I renewed just last year. I noticed he also lowered the cost.
