    Exclamation Off-duty Delaware State Trooperette Robbed at Gunpoint in Ridley, Delaware County

    An off-duty (and apparently unarmed) female Delaware State Trooperette robbed at gunpoint of purse containing badge. Also had car stolen. This was in the parking lot of popular watering hole in DELCO, PA, not normally considered a high crime area. She's a cop. She should always have her weapon on her anyway, in my opinion, and the world would have one less miscreant on the loose...

    Maybe she didn't know that cops even if off-duty are allowed to carry firearms across state lines.

    Not illegal to drink and carry in PA. Not advisable to get smashed.

    Glad she's unharmed.

    I know several LEO's, some of them close friends / family, some just acquaintances. Of those, some do not carry off duty. Some carry ALL THE TIME. The ones who carry all the time seem to be also the ones who constantly train, both physical skills and mental skills.
