Default Purchasing a rifle from out of state gunshop

I'm certain that this question has been answered many times before, but I couldn't find anything when I searched, probably because I suck at performing searches. I want to buy a rifle online from a vendor in Colorado. Does the rifle need to be shipped to an FFL in Pennsylvania, or can it be shipped directly to me?

    Thanks

You'll have to complete the transfer at an FFL. For a handgun it must be in your home state. A long gun can be any state. Obviously when getting it shipped from an online vendor your local FFL will usually be easiest!

Yes, it will need to go to an FFL here in PA.

Rosco, it's not that I couldn't be "bothered with reading the sticky in this forum", it's that I couldn't find it. I searched for half an hour IN THIS FORUM and couldn't find the answer. As I said I suck at doing searches, but I do appreciate your input. And if you read my original post, I said that I knew it was here somewhere. Usually one of the members will respond with the link, as you did, but without the sarcasm.

    Thanks.

Personally, I would have just ignored his sarcastic comment - he could have just ignored your question. Unreal...

And it would have been fine if he just ignored my question since I already had the answer from two other members. Unreal...

You had your 2 posts this month go back to lurking. Slow the scroll you might learn something. Sorry but been on here from '09 and you don't know?

You must find many posts very irritating - have another cup of coffee.

It's not "lurking", it's called learning and a lot of members are here for that reason. There are a bunch of good guys with a lot of experience and knowledge on this site and I would usually rather learn from them than try to respond when the information that I could add would be less valuable than that of the regulars. I visit this site every day, but I really don't have the expertise to add much. Don't beat me up just because I don't post much or am not that good at searching for information.

    Thanks.
