    Can i buy a rifle in Texas and ship it to myself in Pa?

    Yes, if to myself means to an FFL who will then transfer the gun to you.

    You can buy a long gun from a FFL in TX, and then ship it to yourself(home in PA).

    You cannot buy a long gun directly from a non-FFL in TX. The non-FFL would have to transfer it to a TX FFL (or an FFL in any state), then that FFL can transfer it to you.

    However, most common carriers(UPS/FedUp/etc) and USPS are refusing to ship any guns if an FFL isn't on one end or the other.

    Agreed on UPS and FedEx. Unless things have changed recently, USPS will allow you to ship a long gun to yourself. When a family member moved here from Wyoming a couple of years ago, he shipped his deer rifle to himself at my address by Priority Mail.
