Hey everyone I have a quick question. I completed my application for my ccw in pa. Received a call from the sheriff stating "you have been a approved for you ccw and the paper work will be sent out to you". I received the call while working so I couldn't question to much. What papers is he going to send and also what's an estimated day/week range for the papers to be received through mail? Thanks in advance

Did you already pay? If yes, they may be sending your the LTCFs Card.

Maybe the papers are a quick guide of prohibited places, current states where your PA LTCF is valid, etc. Just make sure to verify the info here first

Might be You were approved letter that you have to take to the Sheriffs office to pick up your LTCF. From what I read last year they can only be picked up in person.

I paid application fees. Could I go to the court house for my I.d with out the letter or do I have to bring that letter with.

Probably best to call the sheriff's office to get the correct answer (hopefully). When I got myLTCF in Montco I received it on the day I presented the application in person. They did the background check. I paid $20. They took my photo and made me a card. Walked out with the LTCF and paperwork about renewal and I think some limited info on gun regulations.

Lucky you when I first applied for mine in Delco they waited the full 45 days to send me my letter. Congrats
