Great post. I've recently been wondering the same thing. While a friend had pretty well convinced me that it wasn't an issue, the video sure helps support that.

No, that's not funny at all. I just saw another like that, but the kid was 7. He asked his dad, "Is this gonna hurt?" and the dad says, "You'll see." The shotgun knocks him on his ass, mother laughs in the background.

Well....he says he's a "gunsmith", but I think it's just a cover for keeping that huge arsenal at his place. Also, he's got a pretty recent arrest, which makes me think I should be re-thinking the friendship.

Good recoil video but not exactly a safety video. They seem to be shooting down a trail and the camera came close to being in front of the shooter. I wonder how private the area is.

Otherwise, it is true...a .45 is a manageable round for just about anyone as long as it is a full size gun. A .45 acp compact might be a bit abusive to a young'in!

I thought the same thing when the camera kept moving forward and later you see the young man was getting tired and he almost turned with the pistol
towards the camera ( muzzle in safe direction), but I don't know what the target was I did not see any paper down range or at the hill so it must have been a private area they were at.
