    Assuming you have your LTCF:
    1. West on the PA Turnpike to I-81.
    2. South on I-81 to just before the PA-MD border.
    3. Get out, unholster, unload, clear, lock pistol(s) and ammo separately in the trunk, thumb nose/flip finger/thrust crotch towards MD, get back in car.
    4. Drive south on I-81, carefully obeying EVERY traffic law, until just past the MD-WV border.
    5. Get out, retrieve pistol(s) and ammo, lock & load, holster, thumb nose/flip finger/thrust crotch towards MD, get back in car.
    6. In VA, take I-64 east to I-95 south.
    7. While in SC, keep loaded gun in glove box or closed console.
    8. Enjoy trip.
    9. Reverse to return.

    This^^^^.

IIRC, the short trip through Maryland on I81 is only about 20 mins or so and they have big signs telling you where to stop to disarm/arm. Example:
    "Welcome to Maryland" = disarm
"Welcome to West Virgina" and "Welcome to Pennsylvania" = Arm
When you are called a racist, it just means you won an argument with an Obama supporter.

Sgt.K, absolutely love the suggestion for the show of "love" towards MD!

I prefer to stay on 81 south to 77 to Charlotte and Columbia, SC, then take 26 to 95. The longer I can stay off of 95, the better. I did that trip from Schuylkill Haven, PA, to Titusville, FL, in 16 hours, with stops for breakfast and lunch.
Power always thinks...that it is doing God's service when it is violating all his laws.

I didn't copyright it, feel free to use and pass on at will.

The main part from me is the I-81 route. I haven't actually driven between FL & PA since I was 10, but have gone to/thru TN multiple times, including a 30-hour run (stops for provisions, petrol, and potty breaks) from DelCo to OKC a few years ago.
