Recently Renewed/Upgraded Subscription Not Showing
I recently renewed/upgraded my subscription and I am seeing ads. It appears that the renewal did not get processed. The PayPal posted on 5/2 for $19.99 (Silver). Could someone look into this
Thank you for your attention to this problem.

Re: Recently Renewed/Upgraded Subscription Not Showing
I'm a silver member as well and I see ads. I don't believe they get blocked with membership status.

Re: Recently Renewed/Upgraded Subscription Not Showing
This was taken directly from the Forum Subscription Types.
No Ads after First Post in Discussion Threads
As a necessity to offset operating costs, the Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association sells advertising in certain locations on our websites. One of the most effective ad slots is between the first and second post of every discussion thread on our forum. However members with subscriptions will not see any ads in this location!
Also with a paid subscription you have access to the Club Forum, which I no long er have as well.

Re: Recently Renewed/Upgraded Subscription Not Showing
We're aware of the problems. This is due to upgrades that Dan is still working the bugs out on.

Re: Recently Renewed/Upgraded Subscription Not Showing
Sincerely sorry to anyone experiencing subscription issues and for my delay in responding, I was up visiting my parents for Mother's day and wasn't able to get to my computer this weekend.
My first order of business today is getting any messed up subscriptions fixed. Everyone will be pro-rated for the time they missed out on.
I knew there were going to be some bumps and bruises involved with upgrading the forum software and I'm sorry they ended up being related to subscriptions which was the very last feature I wanted to hiccup. I don't like messing with people's money, but I'll make sure everything is made right.Dan P, Founder & President, Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association

Re: Recently Renewed/Upgraded Subscription Not Showing
This is correct, the only ads that get blocked as a paid member are the ones after the first post of a thread. The ones in the header are still there because removing them would actually just leave a big blank space.
At some point I need to redesign the whole site to be more modern and I want to clean up the way ads work entirely.Dan P, Founder & President, Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association

This should be fixed now and you should be credited for the missing time. My sincere apologies that our software upgrades caused this hiccup. If you think it's not completely fixed please email support@pafoa.org and we'll make sure things are right.

Re: Recently Renewed/Upgraded Subscription Not Showing
Hope to get this answered here - I haven't been participating for some time now, and do not wish to continue my subscription. But I just received a notice from PayPal that I was billed $9.99 for a renewal. I'm not asking for a refund, just please take me off the auto-renewal list so I don't get charged again.
