Rally Bus from PMSC / Monroeville to Harrisburg and back 12 May 2015
I have the Signup sheet for a Bus from PMSC / Monroeville to Harrisburg and back 12 May 2015. The 10th annual Pennsylvania 2nd Amendment Action Day will take place in HARRISBURG on Tuesday May 12th at 10:00 AM.
This event has proven to be very effective in the past and massive numbers of boots on the ground is vital.
Your gun rights are under daily attack by media and others. A massive turnout will go a long way towards empowering pro-gun activities in Harrisburg in this new legislative session. The reason that the rally is on Tuesday is because the legislature will be in session and participants will be asked to visit legislators immediately after the speeches. This technique has proven to be effective in the past and it is vitally important if we are to get fact based pro rights legislation rather than infringements based upon the prevarications and histrionics of those who seek to make Pennsylvania as safe and prosperous as Obama’s home town: Chicago.
After the rally, participants will be invited to break into large groups to visit legislators. Your participation will help make sure that you rights will be protected.
Please forward this to others with the attachments intact. Print out the flyer and post it at clubs and gun stores. Do your part.

I'm still recovering from Feb. surgery and can't drive long distances yet. However, I will be in touch with my reps over the phone. It's too important to just pass it by.

I feel you pain Edgar! Turnout was pathetic... People will get active only when it's too late. No lessons learned from Maryland or New York...

Beaver County had a huge turnout on their buses. I saw a group pic that looked like around 90 people. I wonder if it's just because their buses are free, or are they doing something else to attract so many?

Re: Rally Bus from PMSC / Monroeville to Harrisburg and back 12 May 2015
We've had worse years. Everybody should know by now there is an ebb and flow to attendance. Of course we are dissapointed and want more people but we might have thousands next year, especially since it's an election year. There is no need to give up or sabotage it.
BTW - not referring to your bus, Ed, that is your decision of course. Referring to the bigger picture.
We probably didn't have 200 people in 2012. If we gave up then we wouldn't have had turnout in 2013.

Here's the Beaver County crew. They show up in huge numbers even though they're made to wear goofy aprons. They must be doing something right.

Maybe we need to get more goofy aprons out to other counties
Seriously, though, they always deliver. I think in 2011 or 2012 (I forget), the worst year, they were like 60+% of attendance.
