    Default PA Online Application Signature

I looked but could not find an answer to my question. If you are submitting an Allegheny County renewal application online, how does one go about adding a signature at the bottom?

I printed the form, signed it, scanned it as a PDF and emailed it to them.

You could probably also use an app for an iPad that accepts "hand writing" via a stylus. I haven't tried this but could be a viable option.

I have not ever seen that application, but one thing I have done is to sign my name on a piece of white paper and then scan it as a jpeg file. In many cases I can insert the jpeg signature directly or by cutting and pasting it into the signature line of many forms.

Thanks guys. I have a month or so before I can renew.

I know the Preview Reader that opens PDFs on my Mac laptop has a built-in editor that allows one to insert a signature.

Hello Fax would be a good option to insert a signature. You can then "fax" to a traditional number or an email address.
