Question Open carry or conceal carry

I'm not looking to rehash a debate that has been discussed many time on the site. I prefer CC but realize that many OC for reasons just as valid as mine to CC and fortunately we live in a state where most of us get to be adults and make our own decision on the matter.

I am just curious what the ratio of current board members, both lurkers and regular posters PREFERRED method of carry is in regards to CC and OC.

I realize that some people do a mixture of both depending on the situation, so I am asking .....what do you prefer. In other words, if you are going someplace that is both OC and CC friendly, and you are with people who are both OC and CC friendly and you have a permit so you can legally do either...... how would you carry?

Btw.... your vote is private, not public.

Pretty much the same. About the only time I open carry a handgun is while I'm out hunting.

I CC all the time and respect those that exercise their right to open carry. Glad we have that option in PA and don't have to worry about silly laws that jam you up if you print or your cover garment rides up.

I CC 95% of the time and when I open carry it's typically around my own town only or if I am hiking.

    +1

After reading stories like the nitwit that jumped an OC'er at Wallymart, I think this is the prudent choice for me.

I CC most of the time in an OWB holster, but I don't go to any great lengths to keep it concealed. If I print, or if the gun becomes uncovered when I bend over or sit, I don't worry about it.
