20 moa rail?
I am in the process of building a rem700 chambered in .223 for varmint and provision shooting out to about 500 yards.
My question is should I get a 20 moa rail or a standard rail? If any other recommendations please let me know.

Re: 20 moa rail?
the amount of reticle travel on your scope will determine if you need a 20 moa rail. your shooting out to 500 yards and don't need a 20 moa rail as most scopes in the $500 range will have enough moa/mils to get you out that far. I looked at strelok and you will need approx 12 moa to get out to 500 which is easily attained with just the scope by itself.
