Default Do you ever not say hi to a Open Carrier?

So I've seen open carriers before and I've said hi and even met one or two that happened to be on this site. All good experiences but last week I was at a Walmart, and I noticed this guy open carrying as soon as I saw him. I was with my gf and my friend and I looked to my friend and he noticed it too. The guy looked a little off, his holster was a crappy nylon holster with just the stap over it, the crappy holsters that usually come with the gun you buy sometimes.

Anyways I looked at the guy and he just looked off. He looked very liberal looking which I'm not judging maybe its just the way the guy likes to dress. But he also seemed like he was trying to show off that he was carrying. He didnt seem the most friendliest either, he was with some guy and he wasnt smiling, seemed kind of distant based on how he was acting. My friend I was with agreed with me, that he seemed kind of off.

I do kind of wish I had said something to him just to see if my assumptions were true or not. He could of been the nicest guy ever and a experienced gun owner for all I know. Anyways you guys ever see someone carrying a gun and just not say hi to him cuz they seem like they would be a deuche bag lol

Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

Liberal looking? Perhaps he swished when he walked. Or, had a Starbucks Chai Latte cum-drizzled mochachino frappe whatever in his left hand, pinkie extended to indicate his preference to vote leftie and not squeal loudly as things are forcefully inserted in his fourth point of contact.

Or, maybe he just dressed the part: Clark Kent glasses, combat boots (untied, of course) skinny jeans, the whole 'hipster' look that screams follow me to the Men's Room or an alley and we will have all sorts of fun!

Ive only met one other OC'er and that was a few years ago at the old Uniontown wal mart.
He was sort of in a hurry but polite.
    Never saw him again though.
I OC in the summer time and as far as I can tell Im the only one in this area that does it.

I did see a PAFOA member OCing on Carson street in Pittsburgh once too.

I don't think it would ever occur to me to say hi to someone I saw oc'ing unless they approached me first. I don't figure they do it to meet folks and make friends, I figure they'd rather be left alone to go about their business. Yeah there's a few attention seekers out there but most of the time I wouldn't want to say hi to them anyway.

It's like riding a motorcycle. Do you go out to ride and enjoy yourself or to wave at every other rider on the road? I'm not suggesting anyone be rude about it but I just don't see oc'ing as a signal to others that I want to be friends.
