Looking for place to shoot clay birds. open farm land with gun friendly owner, I just like to get out to shoot. Not really wanting to join any gun clubs (too clicky). Just looking to have some fun.

Well about 40 minutes from you is M&M's Hunting Preserve which has probably 30 sporting clay traps. Definitely worth checking out, and prices are pretty reasonable, no membership needed.

From Wikipedia:
"Danger, Will Robinson!” is a catchphrase from the 1960s’ American television series Lost in Space spoken by voice actor Dick Tufeld. The Robot (played in body by Bob May), acting as a surrogate guardian, says this to young Will Robinson (portrayed by Bill Mumy) when the boy is unaware of an impending threat. In everyday use, the phrase warns someone that they are about to make a mistake or that they are overlooking something.

You can always do SCCSFA on any Sunday at noon until about 3:30 or earlier if everyone has shot enough. They do trap shooting and it's open to the public. There is no big competition with prizes and such, just a bunch of nice people having fun. You will meet some new people just about every week. It costs about $5 a round (25 clays) and you bring your own ammo.
I'm pretty sure that other clubs in the area do something similar. I know that Atglen does sporting clays open to anyone on Wednesday nights and the first and third Sundays of each month. West Chester Gun Club has trap shooting and practice open to the public. I think the DELCO club also has trap shooting open to the public at times.Boy, I say boy, you're reaching the limits of my medication!

Have you checked out Oxford gun club?
We use to go up for Thursday night meat shoots and had a blast. I just moved back to the area and when it gets warmer i'm planning on heading out there again.

There's Ommelanden in DE (I've never been), and West Chester Gun Club (which is actually a really nice place).
