First suppressor
Hello, I'm going to be filing my trust soon and I'll be looking for my first suppressor. I am thinking rimfire to run on my foot m4 .22 and I'm also thinking about picking up a S&W mp 22 compact.
Is the yhm mite worth the $200 or should I buy once and cry once and save for the silencerco sparrow? Something else? Thanks.Go head, skin it. Skin that smoke wagon and see what happens.

Re: First suppressor
No, the Mite is not worth the price or the tax stamp. Save up and buy better. Sparrow, Spectre, Element, Regulator and others.
Look for:
suppression/first round pop (lack of)
easy of cleaning
size/weight/material
price
....in that order. No market for a used half ass suppressor If you don't like.

Re: First suppressor
That's what I figured, thank you. I read some bad reviews online but a friend was talking me into it and how could you pass up a new can for $200? But I'll most likely save for the sparrow.

Re: First suppressor
I have an AAC Element and love it. It's full-auto rated if that matters. You can take it apart and clean it as well.

Re: First suppressor
Whatever you buy make sure if its 22 its easy to take apart and the internals are somewhat stout the 22 makes a lot more mess inside then any other caliber. Like others have said the resale market on a used can is horrible and a used cheap can is non existent. You will probably shoot a 22 can more then anything else, so buy something good.
