Default Philly's Friendliest Shop SEE EDIT

EDIT New management. Much has changed. No verdict either way right now.

Owers for over 40 years Joe & Fred Delia's shop has served my neighborhood. Over the last 15 months he has sold me with a number of guns in excellent condition.

Just don't visit, have a free cup of coffee and maybe a pastry. A half dozen chairs for customers mean you can stay for a while and chit chat about your grail gun. Not a glitz and chrome layout for sure.

I meet a good friend there on Tuesday and ask Joe is he is holding anything nice for me.

Some of the treasures I found there in the last 15 months:

    S&S 629-3 5" Classic box, paper, tool
    S&W 629-4 * 3/8 Classic DX
Colt Python 4" BSST Complete Package
Browning Hight Point C with original case
    Colt DS mirror like chrone
    Colt Agent Mint
S&W 629 ND 2.5" Shipping carton, complete works

    And a few more.

    I almost forgot a Mint S&W 52-2 with box.

    See you there on Wednesday!

I had a friend pass at 57. After his mother took his collection in (Mossberg 500, Sig in .40, Glock 17, .38 revolver, Walter ppk, and an rifle) and walked out with $500, I wont spend a dime there. I have no respect for people who rip off widows.

That's the problem, if you're their pal you get treated well. If not, you're treated like shit.

The guy sounds like a dick. I understand about making a buck, but really?

I was there once just to support them during a huge anti-gun protest. They seemed like nice enough people, but I didn't see anything exceptional at their shop that would make me want to go back into that area for shopping.

I found their prices too high when i was there a few months ago... and they did not really have that good of a selection . but for philly this is pretty much as good as it gets .

I was driving past there on one of my infrequent visits to the city. They were being protested, so on principal, I stopped a bought some ammo. Place seemed pretty typical.

Yes. It is a great gun. Did you notice that the grip still had the quality control inspector's number sticker there! I was so lucky to find that thing.

    Fimore,

What is your relationship with the shop? Are you an owner, family member, or employee?

Nice photochopped sign. What software did you use?
