    Smile S&W MP 40 L E TURN IN ?

Buds has a considerable amount of these turn ins, three mags at $349 ! Anyone venture any experience about the pros and cons of this model ? I have the S&W Shield in 9mm and considering a M&P 40,any input is appreciated. TY/MDT

Why not buy a new one for the same price?

No problem! Personally, I'd go with the 9mm.

I have one of the LEO trade ins and it is a great shooting gun. The trigger sucks compared to anything else out there, but it is a great shooting gun aside from that. The 40 is the way to go, IMHO. You get the .40 and then a 9mm barrel or a .357SIG barrel. All fairly cheap.
    When in doubt, knifehand!

Expamding my interests into a 40 and while my Glock 19 has served me very well,Just wanted something different in the 40.,thoughts may be going to a 40 but with the 9mm conversion barrel too and the M&P 40 at the great price heads up from Sprddhawk is the way for me to go ! TY all MDT

The factory MP9 barrel drops right in the MP40. Conversion is easy. All the parts, aside from the barrel and mags are the same.

If you have any plans to upgrade it with Apex parts (which i recommend) get the new one, as the new ones have the newer designed sear housing which are compatiable without buying a new sear housing.

Apex FSS makes the trigger feel amazing. Almost 1911-like.
