    Thanks Hawk!
I did have an issue with the trackball after my niece played with it (felt gritty), but it cleared up a day or two later.

Ok so a group shoot ago (or 2? ) I had a memory card problem where my Kodak digital had a message keep coming up to reformat the card.

I got some advice from the camera guru's here and just got a new card.

I formatted the card, put in a new set of batteries and seemed to be good to go. Took pics, downloaded them reformatted the card etc etc.

So this group shoot, i made sure the camera batteries were charged and took a bunch of pics of my two kiddos trying out all the hardware I thought they would like to shoot.

Seemed to have a few problems after the first half doz pics but it semed to be OK.

When i got home to show Mrs27 how they did, I found out the camera shit the bed so to speak. It gave me a new message. "THERE ARE NO PICTURES ON THE CAMERA"..

Wish I had seen this earlier. I would have taken the camera over the hill to the clays shoot and flung that puppy into the air.

Well, I was the third family user of this camera and it did serve me pretty well at prior group shoots but I am disappointed that I got no pics of them shooting. The shot of Pistolwhip going "Gangsta" is one I would have liked to get.

I just ordered a K of Wolf .223 for $245 delivered so I'll have to wait a few weeks to get another cam.

Maybe there are pics on the card but its the camera that can't read them. Do you have an adapter for the memory card to have your PC try to read it?

27hand, I don't have any "gangsta" shots, but I took quite a few.
If I ever finish editing/uploading you'll see them.

I have about 185 pics to sort thru!

    Good thought.

I know the card readers aren't that much. Someone mentioned that when I had the initial problem.
I did take the first card that gave me trouble to the Geek squad and they confirmed the card was damaged but the price they quoted me to try to retrieve the 6 or 7 decent pics of the last GS was out of sight.

I'll try that route. Thanks Hawk.

EM, I know you were snappin quite a few pics. I'll wait to see what you have. My nonGangsta kiddo is going back to NH on Wed but he is signed up and I'm pretty sure he used his Email from there so I can probably forward them.

His friends and coworkers think that anyone who is into guns in any way shape or form is a redneck and can't believe my son actually shot and then gutted a couple deer.I bet a conversation with a few of them would be interesting. i'll know when i go there for the wedding next year. Maybe that would be the place to start OCing .

I appreciate that offer and may take you up on it.
My sweetie said any camera store can tell me if there are any pics on the card. Is that a fact?
