I dropped of my form 4 at the sheriffs office 3 weeks ago and they said it would take 2 weeks to process. Should I call to find a status or should i just wait a little longer?

I knew this process was going to take a long time, but i was hoping to already have this form at BATFE for processing by now so I could forget about it until I get the call saying I can pick it up.

There gonna probably make you wait as long as they can. You should have went with a Trust. With a Trust you skip the sheriff, fingerprints and from what I here it speeds up the waiting period with the BATFE also. If it is still a option I would suggest that route. Check out www.ConditionOnePA.com
They have a link on their site that has discounted NFA trusts. Hope that helps some.
