Usually I am hesitant when I am considering buying a new gun for myself. Still waiting on a CZ40p. SO my wife comes up the other day and says , Shes wants a 38 spl in a snubby. SO guess what we came home with yesterday. A tauraus 85 38 spl. She was absolutely thrilled about it. She couldn't wait till we got home. It's one of those black guns. Now she is really getting into this self defense thing. What's wrong with this picture. Guess I'll ask Santa for a CZ40p this year ,huh?

I do not see any pictures on this thread but congratulations on the new gun i have a Taurus 85 also and its a real bear to shot hope she can handle it.

Just don't take her with you when your picking up your new gun . . . I learned that fast, did that one hurt. Had to buy her one just to get dinner that night

I know two individuals who carry the Taurus 85. Nice, accurate little guns. She may have trouble with the double action mode. It's a little rough.
