Default Buds Guns: make an offer

I want to buy my girlfriend a gun (home defense) for our anniversary/ her birthday. I wanted to spend right around $300 bucks. PSA had police trade in Beretta 92s' for $259 but I missed out on them.

Anyway to my original question, how flexible are they on the make an offer hand guns? If I offer them 300 bucks for something they have in at 400 will they accept it? Has anyone ever bought a make an offer gun from them?

I'm just curious as to how flexible they are before I make an offer.

    Thanks.

I believe they state they will consider reasonable offers.
Does 25% below their asking price sound reasonable to you?

They will not accept that offer.

I've "offered" them before, and it isn't but a few bucks off their price. Certainly not 25%. But hey, worth a shot, might get lucky.

I figured 25% off was crazy but they consistently have the same guns at the same price. Why not just mark them down? Not sure I understand the logic, I guess it's so people can THINK they are getting a good deal. Haha

Has your girlfriend fired a Beretta 92? They are on the large side...I've had mine for 15 or so years but my wife has never fired it..way too big for her.

I have used it.The guns price was 738.00

It was a sig with a laser

same gun with out laser 530.00 could get for 400.00 with offers

priced the laser by itself 100.00-130.00

I made 4 offers. started at 375.00 450.00 offer excepted

some other guns I made offers on I could only get 10.00 to 20.00 off

The sig with laser package was over priced to begin with.

How about a brand new gun in the $300-350 range. Those caniks? Hear they're good. Or one of the sccx 9mm's? Ruger LC9.... The 92s surplus doesnt seem like a good choice to me but thats just my opinion. It might look a bit beat up and be pretty big. I also dont like that slide mounted safety. Certainly could accidentally engage it while clearing a malfunction.
