Heidelberg Sportsmen Association is proud to announce that we will be hosting a training course from Rubicon Training Group. This 1 day training course will be held August 1st 2015 from 9 AM to 3 PM at our facility in Schaefferstown, Pa! GPS coordinates: 40.291021,-76.290168

This course will be Level 1 of the Israeli combat pistol training class as taught by the Israeli Defense Force. (IDF) Pre Registration is required.

Certified trainer Mark Booher from Fayetteville, Arkansas is a former soldier, prosecuting attorney, and certified close protection specialist. He has trained hundreds of military, law enforcement, and civilian personnel.

This is a Combat Survival Shooting Course and will consist of Lecture and Live Fire exercises.

The Topics will include:
What is the Israeli Shooting Method?
Body Positioning
Reloading tactics / Quick Magazine Changes
Rapid fire drills
Handling Firearm Malfunctions
Barricaded shooting (shooting from cover)
Various Shooting positions
Close Quarter Combat Considerations
Dynamics of a Gun Fight

Gear Requirements:
Semi-auto pistol
2 magazines
200 rounds ammo
Eye protection
Hearing protection
Knee Pad (optional)
