Default A family of Peregrine Falcons is living in my yard

We have a mom and 2 kits living in a nest in our front yard - right before I took this photo - the mom was showing the kits how to drink out of our pool......

I have an outdoor cat and she is staying inside a lot now - too much competition for the mice, rabbits, squirrels and voles.

The falcons are fearless. My 90lb American Bulldog goes out in the yard and they just ignore her....

    Totally awesome, love Peregrines.

Wish I had the time, money and experience to own one.

I thought they were mostly in-flight bird hunters.

I can hear them screeching to each other but they're in the trees today....

True about the less than normal bird poop on the car....

Also onthe topic of falcons hunting birds - we used to have lots of crows around here - not anymore
