Default Give the AR15 it's own sub section in Firearms.

It's time. PAFOA is filled with a metric butt ton of afficianados for the Stoner rifle.

I'll moderate it if you can't find someone.

We could create a fantastic knowledge base and help sticky section. We could coalesce the AR related stuff to one place ( pics, tech, ammo, what's new, deals questions, pr0n etc.) and no longer clog the general rifles area.

    Thanks for a wonderful forum.

AR15 subsection in 2015. Do it.

You don't think the sticky in the Rifle section is sufficient? It's open for general talk about ARs and when good threads are started, I post a link in the first post in the sticky. My concern would be everybody with a love of a particular rifle or handgun is going to want their own section.

What about the AK guys or the guys into all the 7.62x51 rifles or the milsurp guys?

I've seen forums kill traffic by having a bazillion sub forums. What I would prefer to see is to have them take the Firearms section and make it more prominent, along with it's associated sub forums. If you look at the main directory page a lot of space is taken up by sub forums and forums that really don't get used much. In contrast the Firearms and General section get a lot of traffic but are kind of hidden on the page.

I would like to see a section dedicated to 8gauge shotguns.

The AR15 is more popular than any of those weapons. Especially the 8 gauge. Which though awesome is not family friendly/widely available as the AR.

The sticky is not being developed or used and people keep asking the same questions. Vs the AK and others we have some serious industry people, and real pipe hitters that live here.

AR15.com butthurt is not a relevant discussion. Local/Hometown forums on the big sites absolutely blow. This is for the user here in Pennsylvania/our PA friends.
